ISLE OF WIGHT
We return to the pretty island measuring just 24 miles wide. From historic sites to natural delights the island has something for everyone. For this tour we stay at the popular Trouville Hotel on Sandown’s seafront, a few minutes’ walk from the town centre. We include a guided tour of the island, and entrance to Osbourne House, plus free time in Shanklin and a visit to Quarr Abbey, home to a small group of Benedictine Monks.
THURSDAY DAY 1
After our morning door to door service we head south and enjoy the short ferry crossing to the Isle of Wight.
FRIDAY DAY 2
Today we are joined by a local guide who will share with us many of the sights and history of this unique slice of England.
B, DSATURDAY DAY 3
We join the coach for our morning trip to Shanklin. Lose yourself in the history and character of Shanklin Old Village. Later we travel to Quarr Abbey to see the estate and learn how the monks live.
B, DSUNDAY DAY 4
After breakfast we travel the short distance to Osborne House & Gardens, where entrance to Queen Victoria's former residence is included. 'It is impossible to imagine a prettier spot' said Queen Victoria of Osborne House.
B, DMONDAY DAY 5
We begin our journey home, crossing back to the mainland during the morning, to meet our door to door service during the afternoon.

Situated centrally on Sandown’s seafront, the Trouville Hotel in Sandown is the ideal location for an Isle of Wight break. The rooms are located across four floors, all of which are directly accessed by the lift. Each room is equipped with flat screen TV, as well as hairdryer, complimentary hospitality tray, toiletries and direct dial phone. Most double and twin rooms have a sea view.
