LAKE GENEVA, CHAMONIX, MONT BLANC
The French Alps offer some of the most stunning lakes and mountain scenery in Europe, with stunning views of Mont Blanc during our travels. This tour is based in Saint Gervais, France, close to the borders with Switzerland and Italy. Please check out the full itinerary below.
SATURDAY DAY 1
After an early home pick up we travel to Dover for the short ferry crossing. Arriving at our overnight hotel during the afternoon. (Mercure Reims Parc des Expositions, half board)
DSUNDAY DAY 2
We continue our journey through France, arriving at the Hotel Le Saint Gervais during the afternoon. (5 nights half board)
B, DMONDAY DAY 3
Today, we take a trip through the magnificent Savoy Alps to the chic resort of Chamonix which is nestled beneath Europe's highest mountain, Mont Blanc. We have time to explore its central boutiques and cafes.
B, DTUESDAY DAY 4
Today is Lake Annecy, known as the 'Venice of the Alps'. The lakeside town features charming canals and narrow streets to explore. Also included is a lake cruise.
B, DWEDNESDAY DAY 5
We travel to Lake Geneva after breakfast to the lakeside village of Yvoire, with medieval houses and shops and cafes to explore. A cruise on Lake Geneva is included.
B, DTHURSDAY DAY 6
A day at leisure today. Relax in the mountain air, wander into the nearby town centre for some local shopping at the weekly market. You can also take the Ascenseur des Thermes lift, situated close by to the wonderful Mont Blanc Thermal Spa where you can enjoy the thermal waters and treatments available (subject to opening times).
B, DFRIDAY DAY 7
After breakfast we begin our journey home, spending our final night once more close to Reims at the Mercure Hotel.
B, DSATURDAY DAY 8
Our last day of the tour. We join the late afternoon ferry from Calais, then travel from Dover to meet our door to door service during the evening.

This superb spa hotel, once a private residence, is set at the foot of Mont Blanc, furnished to a high standard. Bedrooms feature en-suite bathroom, TV, hairdryer, WiFi and tea/coffee-making facilities. The hotel has a lift.
