WAVERLEY IN SCOTLAND
Join us for a nostalgic steamship cruise on Waverley, the world's last seagoing paddle steamer. The itinerary also includes a day tour to the Isle of Bute, a guided tour of Dumfries House and a visit to Robert Burns Birthplace Museum.
SUNDAY DAY 1
After our morning door to door service we travel north via the motorway network, arriving at the Riverside Lodge Hotel late afternoon.
DMONDAY DAY 2
We leave the hotel after breakfast and travel to Wemyss Bay for the ferry to Bute. On arrival we visit neo-gothic Mount Stuart, one of the most technologically advanced houses of its age, set in landscaped gardens and woodland. Afterwards we take a scenic tour around the island, finishing in Rothesay to catch the ferry back to the mainland.
B, DTUESDAY DAY 3
This morning we head to Ayr to board the famous Waverley Paddle Steamer for a full day return cruise around Loch Long and Loch Goli, a memorable experience for all aboard. Please note: departure point and destination may differ but will be somewhere on the Ayrshire coast.
B, DWEDNESDAY DAY 4
Our first visit of the day is to Dumfries House for a guided tour of one of Britains most beautiful stately homes. Afterwards we are treated to lunch of soup, sandwiches and cake. We then head west to Ayr to visit the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum for a unique encounter with Scotland's favourite poet.
B, DTHURSDAY DAY 5
After breakfast we depart the hotel and begin the journey home, to meet our door to door service during the afternoon.

THE RIVERSIDE LODGE HOTEL ****
The Riverside Lodge hotel is located on the outskirts of Irvine. All 128 comfortable bedrooms are equipped with a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a cosy, intimate restaurant and an open plan reception, lounge/bar area. Please note there is no lift.
