The Wye Valley & Brecon Beacons
The Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is an internationally important protected landscape straddling the border between England and Wales. It is one of the most dramatic and scenic landscape areas in southern Britain. We enjoy a cruise on the River Wye, a train ride on the Forest of Dean Railway and visits to Gloucester, Ross-on-Wye and Hereford.
MONDAY DAY 1
After our door to door service we join our main tour coach. We make a stop in Gloucester Quays during our journey with the chance to purchase lunch, arriving at our hotel with time to relax before our evening meal.
DTUESDAY DAY 2
After a leisurely full Welsh breakfast we depart for a drive along the beautiful Wye Valley to the historic town of Monmouth. We continue to Symonds Yat to enjoy a cruise on the River Wye before heading to Ross-on-Wye with time for lunch. This afternoon we return to our hotel near Chepstow via the scenic route through the Forest of Dean.
B, DWEDNESDAY DAY 3
Today we travel to the Welsh capital, Cardiff and enjoy a guided coach tour. Free time this afternoon in Cardiff before we return to the hotel for dinner.
B, DTHURSDAY DAY 4
This morning we depart for the Brecon Beacons and some wonderful mountain scenery. We join the Brecon Mountain Railway for the journey along the Taf Fechan Reservoir to Dol-y-Gaer route. There will be a short stop at Pontsticill to admire the views. We make a stop at Abergavenny before returning to the hotel.
B, DFRIDAY DAY 5
After breakfast depart for home. We will take a break with time to purchase lunch before meeting our door to door service late afternoon.

With breath taking views, 400 acres of picturesque parkland and a stunning 14th Century manor, the 4 star St Pierre Hotel and Country Club is an idyllic retreat. The resort, set in the rolling hills of South Wales, just 3 miles from Chepstow, features the perfect blend of ancient architecture and modern amenities. All rooms have satellite TV, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and tea/coffee making facilities. No lift but some low floor rooms via a few steps are available. Please note accommodation is accessed via a courtyard outside of the main old building.
