LLANDUDNO, WALES
Join us as we return to the family run Merrion Hotel. Our hotel is located along the prom with perfect access to the town attractions. We enjoy a variety of destinations during our visit including a ride on the Welsh Highland Railway followed by free time in Porthmadog. We also include entrance to Penrhyn Castle and Gardens, and a free day to enjoy Llandudno.
MONDAY DAY 1
After our morning door to door service we head north west, arriving late afternoon at The Merrion, Llandudno.
DTUESDAY DAY 2
After breakfast, we head to the Welsh Highland Railway, starting at Caernarfon station and travelling 25 miles 'coast to coast' across the foothills of Snowdon to its destination at Porthmadog. This train celebrates the dedication of the volunteers who rebuilt the line. We then allow free time in Porthmadog to purchase lunch and look round, before heading back to Llandudno by coach.
B, DWEDNESDAY DAY 3
After a leisurely breakfast we travel the short distance to Penrhyn Castle and Gardens. The dominating stone façade hides more than just its internal redbrick construction. Built in the early 19th century, its formidable architecture, opulent interiors and fine art collection lean on a long history of sugar and slate fortunes, social unrest and the longest-running industrial dispute in British history.
B, DTHURSDAY DAY 4
We enjoy a free day to explore Llandudno. Take the tram up the Great Orme, enjoy a vintage bus ride (price not included), or simply stroll along the prom.
B, DFRIDAY DAY 5
After breakfast we begin our journey home, meeting our door to door service late afternoon.

Luxurious en-suite seafront hotel accommodation in the seaside resort of Llandudno. All rooms are en-suite, many have stunning views towards the pier and the spectacular sweep of Llandudno Bay. All rooms are equipped with tea & coffee making facilities and flat screen TV. The hotel has a lift.
