KENT ENTERTAINMENT WEEKEND
Join us for a spring tour visiting Kent. We are based at the popular 4* Bridgewood Manor Hotel situated close to Chatham, entertainment is included both nights. During the weekend we visit Rochester, Canterbury and the seaside resort of Whitstable. On the return journey we allow free time in Windsor.
FRIDAY DAY 1
After our door to door service we travel to historic Rochester, famous for its medieval castle, ancient cathedral and connections to author Charles Dickens. We then travel to the Bridgewood Manor Hotel & Spa, Chatham, our accommodation for 2 nights. Dinner will be followed by live entertainment.
DSATURDAY DAY 2
This morning we head to the walled medieval city of Canterbury, dominated by its magnificent cathedral which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later we journey to Whitstable, with its traditional charms and rich maritime history. Whitstable's main claim to fame is its oysters which remain an intrinsic part of this sea town's character and are celebrated annually at the Oyster Festival. On returning to the hotel we enjoy a pre-dinner drink followed by an evening of live entertainment.
B, DSUNDAY DAY 3
After breakfast we start to make our way home, stopping for time at leisure in Windsor, before continuing our journey to meet our door to door service in the afternoon.
