ISLE OF WIGHT
We return to this pretty island measuring just 24 miles wide. From historic sites to natural delights the island has something for everyone. For this tour we stay once again at the Trouville Hotel on Sandown’s seafront, a few minutes’ walk from the town centre. We include entrance to Osborne House and Gardens. We also enjoy free time in Shanklin, Godshill, Alum Bay, Ryde and Yarmouth as well as time to view Quarr Abbey and tea rooms.
FRIDAY DAY 1
After our morning door to door service we head south and enjoy the short ferry crossing to the Isle of Wight.
SATURDAY DAY 2
After breakfast we travel the short distance to Osborne House & Gardens, where entrance to Queen Victoria's former residence is included. 'It is impossible to imagine a prettier spot' said Queen Victoria of Osborne House.
B, DSUNDAY DAY 3
After a leisurely breakfast we join the coach for our morning trip to Shanklin. Lose yourself in the history and character of the Old Village. Later we travel to Godshill where you have the chance to visit the model village (entrance not included).
B, DMONDAY DAY 4
We join the coach today for our first stop at Alum Bay. After a short time to enjoy the Needles we head to Yarmouth for free time in the afternoon.
B, DTUESDAY DAY 5
Today we travel to the seaside resort of Ryde. Later we head to Quarr Abbey to see the estate and learn how the monks live. We return to the hotel early afternoon.
BWEDNESDAY DAY 6
After breakfast we depart the hotel and begin the journey back to the mainland and home, meeting our door to door service in the afternoon.

Trouville Hotel ***
Situated centrally on Sandown’s seafront, the Trouville Hotel in Sandown is the ideal location for an Isle of Wight break. The rooms are located across four floors, all of which are directly accessed by the lift. Each room is equipped with flat screen TV, as well as hairdryer, complimentary hospitality tray, toiletries and direct dial phone. Most double and twin rooms have a sea view.
