HAMPSHIRE & IOW BY HOVERCRAFT
A delightful tour to the South Coast featuring a Hovercraft trip across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. The crossing features special manoeuvres including 360 degree turns and sightseeing around local landmarks. In Ryde enjoy a two-course lunch at Ryde Castle Pub and free time to explore the seaside resort. The tour also includes free time to explore the cities of Portsmouth and Brighton.
SUNDAY DAY 1
After our morning door to door service we head south, arriving at the Langstone Hotel during the afternoon.
DMONDAY DAY 2
Today we head east following the coast road to enjoy a day in Brighton. Explore the Lanes - a trendy area with cafes, bars and shops.
B, DTUESAY DAY 3
After breakfast we make the short journey to Southsea for the highlight of our trip - a Hovercraft flight across the Solent to the Isle of Wight resort of Ryde. The short crossing features the 'Hovercraft Experience' where you have the chance to meet the pilot and crew who will talk you through how the craft works before showcasing the abilities of the craft including 360 degree turns and a float around local landmarks. On arrival in Ryde we will enjoy a 2-course lunch and then the afternoon is free for you to explore the town at your leisure before our hover crossing back to Southsea later in the day.
B, DWEDNESDAY DAY 4
Today we make the short journey to Portsmouth where we include a visit to the Historic Dockyard. Alternatively head for Gunwharf Quays with an excellent array of shops and perhaps take a ride up the Spinnaker Tower for fabulous views along the south coast.
THURSDAY DAY 5
After breakfast we begin our journey home, meeting our door to door service late afternoon.

THE LANGSTONE HOTEL ***
The Langstone Hotel is a stunningly individualistic hotel situated on the south coast between Portsmouth and Chichester on the northern shore of Hayling Island. Hotel facilities include Lifestyle Health and Leisure Club with swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and gym. All bedrooms have television, radio, telephone, hairdryer and hospitality tray. Ground floor rooms are available.
