Eastbourne 2027
Eastbourne is a unique seaside resort with an amazing range of activities, and exciting events for you to enjoy in a fantastic setting. Everything is within easy reach with the seafront promenade virtually leading straight on to the foot of the beautiful Eastbourne Downs and Beachy Head, and the town centre is just a few yards walk from the centrally located Victorian Pier.
MONDAY DAY 1
After our door to door service we join the coach and travel to the popular spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells. We then travel to our hotel in Eastbourne where we arrive late afternoon.
DTUESDAY DAY 2
Today is a free day in Eastbourne. One of England's best-loved seaside resorts, Eastbourne has a leisurely atmosphere with its elegant seafront terraces, level promenades, and immaculate gardens. Enjoy a seafront stroll, make your way into the town to explore, or just sit and relax and watch the world go by.
B, DWEDNESDAY DAY 3
After breakfast this morning we enjoy a drive to Battle, the site of the 1066 Battle of Hastings. We then travel to the picturesque town of Rye, with cobbled streets, historical buildings and independent shops. Later we return to Eastbourne where we enjoy scones with cream and jam at the York House hotel.
B, DTHURSDAY DAY 4
Our day starts as we join the Kent and East Sussex Railway for a delightful steam train ride to Tenterden. Across the 'border' in Kent, Tenterden is a lovely little town with tea rooms, ideal for lunch. In the afternoon, we visit Scotney Castle, a romantic garden with a 14th-century moated castle and Victorian country mansion - all in a beautiful, wooded estate. Discover the delights of the country mansion with its secrets and stories, relax in the gardens or pop into the visitor shop for tasty local produce.
B, DFRIDAY DAY 5
We depart from Eastbourne after breakfast and arrive at our door to door service late afternoon.

THE LANGHAM HOTEL ****
The Langham Hotel is situated along Royal Parade on Eastbourne’s magnificent seafront with spectacular views across the bay and towards the pier. The restaurant has fantastic sea views and the newly refurbished Langhams Bar is the perfect place to relax and unwind. All bedrooms have ensuite facilities, television, telephone and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift.
