MONDAY DAY 2

Today's excursion takes us to Chatham's famous Historic Naval Dockyard. This vast maritime heritage site offers the visitor much to see, with an abundance of historic buildings dating from 1704, three warships, dry docks, Royal Dockyard Museum and much more. This afternoon we visit the City of Rochester with its magnificent Cathedral and historic castle. Take a stroll along the High Street or explore the old town and cobbled streets.

TUESDAY DAY 3

We travel via Sittingbourne to visit the pretty coastal resort of Whitstable where we enjoy a break to explore and take in some sea air! From here we continue to the historic city of Canterbury which is dominated by the magnificent Cathedral, now a World Heritage Site. The city centre, being very compact, is best explored on foot or by horse drawn carriage. There is a maze of intriguing side streets with a rich variety of shops, welcoming cafes and pubs in which to relax.

WEDNESDAY DAY 4

We begin with a ride to historic Faversham. Nestling between the rural gently sloping Downs and the austere North Kent marshes, Faversham is one of southern England's most charming towns. It now has over 475 listed buildings and independent shops. Later, we enjoy our afternoon visit to the Shepherd Neame Brewery for a guided 'behind the scenes' tour. Afterwards we round off the visit with Hop Pickers Afternoon Tea.
